Reflection on Ken Robinson

This video encourages school professionals to utilize non-traditional teaching methods in the classroom. Direct instruction may have been effective in the past; however, because of the increase of diversity of learners, teachers need to consider using instructional styles such as cooperative learning. I like the example shown in the video about students with ADHD who have a difficult time sustaining attention in the classroom. Similarly, that is how most students react when they are not receiving effective instruction. After watching this film, I learned that teachers need to start using activities that are highly effective and interesting for students.
